Vous ne trouvez pas que la vie est d'une morosité horrible?
personnellement je trouve que oui , pourquoi? tout simplement pour divers points qui sont malheureusement vrai
Comme le fait que nos vies sont réglées , planifiées
Au départ tu est née par amour , le fruit d'une passion liée par deux personnes humaines , normalement constituées , tu grandis , tu as ta première dent , tu marche , tu commence à parler , puis tu va de classe en classe , tu passe de camarades de cours a d'autres , tu te lie d'amitié avec certains , tu apprend , tu vois la relation de tes parents explosé ou au contraire vieillir , tu vis tes premier flirts , ton premier baisers , ta première fois , tu passe par divers Look , tu t'engueule avec ta ou tes meilleur(es) ami(es) , tu vas dans des concerts ou en boîtes , t'es timide ou extraverti , tu t'assume ou pas , tu test des trucs avec tes potes , tu fait de longue études ou pas pour en définitive avoir un avenir commun a toutes personnes sur terres , mais un avenir quand même , ta ton bac ou autres , tu fume , boit , ou te drogue peut être , tu baise , tu sort , tu faits des conneries , des erreurs... , ta personnalité se créé , tu fait semblant de sourire quand sa va mal pour ne pas inquiétés tes proches , tu déprime , tu dors ou t'es insomniaque , tu grossis ou maigris , t'es accro , t'es heureux ou pas, ta trouvé la personne parfaite ou tu vis seul avec ton chien , tu te fiance , tu te mari , tu fais des mômes ou t'adopte , tu divorce , te remarie , ou tu as d'autres enfants peut être ou encore tu coule des jours heureux avec l'être aimé , tu fait certaines choses pour qu'on te remarque alors que tout le monde fait pratiquement pareils ouvrir une entreprise , écrire des chansons , un scénario , ou un livre , monté un groupe , vivre dans une grande ville , être acteur ou autres , en gros tu recherche la célébrité ou as te faire reconnaitre , pis un beau jour tu meurt vieux ou jeune , décidé ou pas , ta fait ta vie , tu as fait de bonnes ou de mauvaises choses , tu as donné la vie ou tu la pris , t'as bossé comme un dingue ou t'as pointé a l'ANPE , ta rencontré l'homme ou la femme de ta vie ou ta papilloné enfaite
tu est...Banal!
Parce que nous prenons tous la même route , la seule chose qui changeras c'est la tune sur le compte bancaire...
Sans nul doute je pense que dans tout les cas moments de bonheur il y a eu mais
La vie est en réalité Monotone...

Skate It Gets Spiked...

Skate It Gets Spiked…

Was prowling on the boards yesterday and came across a fairly big...and annual?...announcement. A Skate game has been nominated for a mucho prestigious and oh-so-coveted Spike TV Video Game Award...or something to that effect. This year it's Skate It. I was super stoked and surprised, especially because we release next week and have just barely even released our ship date. (Next Monday!) We're up for individualistical sports sensation against some fairly heavy hitters. Well, one heavy hitter, one flying tomato, and one thing that seems to be a step up from Billy Blanks Tae Bo. I digress...


So, Scoop Brady "press" hat firmly perched upon my head, I emailed my Skate It homie, Mike McCartney, to get the scoop. Here it is...a real type interview:

Me: Individual Sports Game Of The Year?! How does that feel?

Mike MC: Awesome - There was three different teams working on this game (EA BlackBox, EA Montreal, Exient) and it's great to get the acknowledgement for the hard work we all put into making the game.

Me: How does Spike know how good the game is, it's not even released yet? Did they send industrial espionage types into the offices to get the lowdown?

Mike MC: No idea man, but I'm keeping my eye on any suspicious shirt & ties strolling the halls of Blackbox.

Me: The Wii's an awesome platform for people with freakishly large thumbs (ahem...like you!). You don't trip over yourself trying to move from pushing to ollieing. Is that the single greatest selling point to Skate it? If it's not...what is?

I would have thought instead of paying attention to my abnormally large thumbs (I admit it) that you'd be more excited that you can still rip with your mangled hand. We bring the awesomeness regardless of your physical impediment.

Me: I know you're probably not going to trash talk The Tomato, and Tiger Woods is an EA employee...so, let both guns blaze at Skate It's last nominated rival...Miyamoto. Just say he sucks. OK?

Sorry, I've had way too much enjoyment watching countless Skate team members be told their "Fitness Age"on Wii Fit to say anything negative about the man. That is true entertainment.


Let The Debate Hate Ensue!

The debate raging in the Darkman's room (that's my man D's office, he has his own den of video creation where he cranks out eye candy for Skate) is...who will be Thrasher's Skater of the Year? Of course, if you play Skate It...(due to hit stores next Tuesday...bonus redundant marketing points for me!)...you can become SOTY for your own damn self. But, if you're a gambler, and want to lay odds on who's going to get his name announced next week, who are you picking?

We've narrowed it down to Silas vs. Sheckler. Whaaaaaaaaa!? That's right, Sheckler. Silas is getting the nod from the pros, the message boards, and the "real" skaters. OK. Fine. But, c'mon, it's hard to deny the attention, the coverage, the back tat, and the hardflip on command and the Plan B free online part he dropped the other week. Dude's been killing it.

But...would him winning it, kill the meaning of the award? Think of all those guys with Thrasher tats. Would they be stoked?

On the other hand, is Silas an icon? He absolutely killed it this year. No denying. But...think about ten years from now. Will Silas be there with Carrol, Koston, Way, Appleyard, Johnson, etc. Could be. Might not.

Hit the boards and start debating...and hating.

Due to popular demand...or perhaps because I was feeling the pressure of "without-the-footy-it's-fiction"...I have finagled permission to drop the clip I mentioned last week...you know, double flipping the broken board. Check it.
